Maybe I just THOUGHT it wasn't working because the yellow numbers weren't showing up like normal and if you hit record it still records. maybe it doesn't really make a difference. Then I just thought I would disable the benchmarking hotkey. I had to get the combination of full screen and benchmarking correct before I could record. I realized that as soon as I press F11 to fullscreen the game, the FPS counter would change colors (red and green) and wouldn't record sometimes, or at least the numbers wouldn't show. Really? I wouldn't think that disabling benchmarking would disable recording as well, but maybe that was the problem. (Though, this is if you're playing in the browser.) So when you fullscreen Minecraft by pressing F11 you don't disable fraps. when you hit F11 you disable benchmarking. Quote from McBeeferton »I can record at full screen with fraps. I don't know the technical details, but I do know that Notch once said he wants to implement "real fullscreen," which I imagine means an option powered by the actual game engine, rather than the Java runtime environment (or Windows, I dunno which one is the culprit).
